Chequers Cottage Road Bridge

Lower Shepton Viaduct
Located approximately 300 metres downstream from the Chequers Road bridge. A three arch viaduct built around 1860 to enable the Somerset and Dorset railway to cross the river. The construction was brick arches on masonry abutments and piers.Click here to view the image gallery for this bridge.
Beer's Plantation Farm Bridge
Located approximately 400 metres downstream from the Lower Shepton Viaduct. Concrete deck on stone piers. Provides access to the Aviaries which was originally part of the Redlynch Park Estate.
